LAT 2024 Test Date and Roll Number Slip Update
The HEC LAT has been announced for those aiming to secure admission in LL.B. 5 Years at any law college or university in Pakistan. Currently, the deadline to apply for the Law Admission Test is May 8, 2024, which has been recently extended from April 30, 2024.
There are rumors circulating that this deadline might be pushed further due to scheduled examinations of various boards coinciding with the LAT date. Presently, the LAT is expected to be conducted on May 26, 2024.
In Punjab, second-year exams are concluding in the first or second week of May, allowing second-year students to apply for the test. However, in different boards of Sindh and Balochistan, second-year examinations are expected to take place in the last week of May, making it impossible for students from these regions to participate in the test. Consequently, there’s a possibility of the test being delayed by a week or two.
Roll Number Slip for LAT 2024
Regarding the roll number slips, applicants who have submitted their applications are eagerly awaiting their roll number slips. According to HEC policy, the roll number slips for LAT 2024 will be issued five to six days before the examination date. Therefore, applicants must wait until at least May 20th to receive the official roll number slip from HEC.
There is a common misconception that the slip for LAT 2024 will be sent to students via post, which is incorrect. The roll number slip will be uploaded by HEC on your ETC online portal, accessible for download using your registered CNIC and Password.
After downloading the slip, candidates must bring all the specified documents to the test center on the day of the test. These documents include your Original CNIC. If you are under 18 and do not have a CNIC, you can bring your original HSC enrollment card, which essentially serves as your original result card of Intermediate Part 1 or the combined original result of matriculation.
Failing to bring these documents to the test center can result in a denial of entry to the examination center, wasting precious time and resources for students. Be vigilant! Remember, preparation is key when it comes to examinations. Ensuring you have all necessary documents with you not only avoids the hassle of being denied entry but also saves you valuable time and effort. By staying organized and vigilant, you set yourself up for success. Good luck with your exam!
